You are invited to Spark Days! Spark Days are the days where we spark the ideas that become the shining beacon of art and joy that is the famous Fremont Solstice Parade. These two days are for the community to gather to learn more about the Solstice Parade for the year and brainstorm ideas for this year’s floats, ensembles, and other art pieces. You may attend either day, or both if you like!
We will start off each day with a brief introduction to the parade for those who are new, followed by lots of ideating interspersed with brief presentations from some of our featured artists for the year to help inspire all of us. Towards the end of each day, we will collate ideas and start to form some slightly more defined groups so you can identify who you might enjoy working with for this year’s parade and start getting to know your new friends better.
No experience necessary — all levels, ideas, and ages are welcome! Bring snacks to share.
