Candles Lighting
Help place, light, and re-wick candles. Time requirement: TBD.
Chai House Build Co-Lead
Design/build/decorate and coordinate volunteers during week before The Feast.
Dining Table Set-Up
Help set-up the dining tables, chairs and food service for the event. Time requirements: 12/19 evening and 12/20 morning.
Greenery Decorations Team Lead
Organizes a crew of volunteers to decorate the event site with greenery.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Feast of the Winter Solstice! We have closed the online volunteer registration.

Feast of the Winter Solstice is once again upon us! This year we will offer 200 Volunteer positions to help bring our site to life. Being part of the build for most is one of the best parts of the whole experience! New friends are made, creative connections and a general sense of being part of something bigger than life are some of the perks.

There are a variety of ways Volunteers can help with the build. Please look at the list of opportunities and find where you will be a good fit. Then sign up with all your information so we can communicate with you. Volunteers will be expected to do a minimum of 5 hours and are encouraged to do more if they can.

There will be a Lead for your area that will guide you on the details needed to be done and you must check in with that Lead to learn about various work times your crew will make things happen. Once you have completed 4-6 hours your Lead will give you a handmade Invitation to our event.

Volunteers are also expected to bring a potluck dish, including your own plate, cup & silverware. BYOB. This is the biggest pot luck you will likely ever attend!

Everyone participates in Clean up the next day as well. We start at 10am, then Dine at 2pm, followed by a short Winter Solstice Ritual at the precise time it turns over; 3:03pm.
