Application for one of the limited number of press passes offered to photograph the Fremont Solstice Parade.
There will be 50 press passes offered to photographers who wish to be in the street during the parade.
Photographs are reviewed each year by a committee that selects the best shots. Photographers that shared high quality photographs from 2015 and earning an A grade will be offered passes for 2016.
The remaining number of passes for 2016 will be offered on a “first-come, first-serve” basis to amateur and professional photographers that sign up on-line and that attend the photographer safety meeting on June 11.
We ask that new photographers also be a member of the Fremont Arts Council. Annual membership fees are $50. Your support of the organization supports production for the parade.
Photographers who are traveling with an ensemble must also attend the safety meeting and obtain a pass in order to shoot while in the street, but are not counted in the pool of 50 “roaming” photographers.
Press Passes are ONLY distributed to eligible photographers on parade day, at the Registration table!
(photographer registration is closed, as the safety meeting has already happened).
