Come to the Powerhouse and make a float or decorate an umbrella.
+ We'll have goo gahs, toys and treasures to add to your float. + You can also make a Mardi Gras mask or look through the costumes for a festive parading outfit. FLOAT GUIDELINES 1. Floats should be smaller(ish) than a case of wine (as in a dozen bottles, not a box of box wine). 2. No printed words or logos. 3. No live animals (except guide animals). 4. No motorized/remote controlled floats. 5. No weapons or fire. WHAT TO BRING TO WORKSHOPS + A base to build on. Wheels can be added to a cardboard box or you can use something that is already wheeled. Note: Wider is better when it comes to bases - we've used some rather small toys as bases in past years but they tend to tip over when pulled through the streets. + Objects to create your scene. + An umbrella to decorate. + Extra toys and fancy bits to share with others. + Snacks to share
