  • I was a Fremont Solstice Parade photographer with press pass in past years and would like to return for 2017.

Application for one of the limited number of press passes offered to photograph the Fremont Solstice Parade.   

There will be 50 press passes offered to photographers who wish to be in the street during the parade.

Photographs are reviewed each year by a committee that selects the best shots.  Photographers that shared high quality photographs from 2016 and earning an A grade will be offered passes for 2017.

The remaining number of passes for 2017 will be offered on a “first-come, first-serve” basis to amateur and professional photographers that sign up on-line and that attend the photographer safety meeting on June 10. (9-10 am at the Powerhouse - 3940 Fremont Ave. N., Seattle)

Photographers who are traveling with an ensemble must also attend the safety meeting and obtain a pass in order to shoot while in the street, but are not counted in the pool of 50 “roaming” photographers.   

Press Passes are ONLY distributed to eligible photographers on parade day, at the Registration table!
